We're calling on EA to establish servers for the EAFC series in mainland China!
From FIFA98 all the way to the recently launched EAFC24, we've seen a vibrant gaming community here in China. However, it's disheartening that EA hasn't officially rolled out FIFA and the EAFC games in mainland China. This leaves Chinese gamers with no choice but to acquire their games from the Hong Kong region, and then employ a variety of VPNs (each incurring monthly expenses) just to connect to servers in Hong Kong. Hong Kong isn't exactly at the heart of China, and the majority of gamers in mainland China are quite distant from it. Even with VPNs, the ping rates typically hover around 40 to 60ms, and this seriously hampers the overall gaming experience.
We earnestly hope that EA will pay heed to the voices of Chinese gamers and actively collaborate with relevant authorities in mainland China to set up servers for the EAFC series.
