Will team introductions return?

No need to gather information anymore! Bring it back now! Who have welcomed this change? Tell me who? Bring it back now or you will lose your customers

Sounds like this is pretty much done then.

What important information? A goalie bouncing a ball in the generic tunnel area? Fans banging on drums? A coin toss that means nothing ? The scrolling lineups has always been there if you held X to skip the introduction. These new intro scenes present absolutely nothing of importance and get repetitive after a only handful of games...

You are all so out of touch with career mode players it's embarrassing! Let me guess you will evaluate things and add it in next year and use it as a new feature to sell the game. No true career mode player would have asked for the intros to be taken out, a blind man can see that your trying more and more each year to push ultimate team in our faces honestly can't believe i wasted money on this never again !

There is the Skip button, if somebody want "smoother match introductions". Many players has welcomed the decision? 😃 Yeah. 2% welcomed, 98% are embarrassed because of the decision.

Further suggestions and feedbacks? Do you need more 1000+ complain message at here to correct this comedy?

This explanation sucks, bring back old introductions!

Come back line oups and intros

This is such a dishonest reply from EA. I know loads of players and not a single one said it was a good idea. How on earth can they come out with a straight face and tell us it’s been well received… I m calling BS on this… stop taking us for idiots 

It was the worse decision you ve made in a long time and you just hope people will forget about it which might happen but where is your pride in providing a good product ? You can still make billions AND improve ALL modes…

Also, no where in your trailer was it mentioned you were taking team intros out of the game… this is a flat out lie… 

If this was the only issue in your release maybe we could forgive it but it this title is crippled with bugs, incompleteness and straight unplayable modes… to call it the best football game ever is a fallacy. BCHD done a 35min video call you out on some of the issues in career mode and I think he could of done it twice longer..

such a shame that you are ruining the experience for all of us while this franchise has given us so much fun in the past. Something to think about

This is the worst decision you have made, you deprive the players of the career mode of any possible immersion, it will be difficult for us to trust you again
Honestly, if you don't put it back, this game will be dead for us

listen up ea gentlemen...if you really want to thank us please add the match intros right away like you have done all the previous years...really we are all very unhappy with their removal....the whole community is asking you....  upgrade immediately... I believe you can do it, you have the ability.... thank you

In what universe did any of you sit in a design/production meeting and go “I know, let’s make this game less immersive, less realistic, and remove something that actually added some semblance of realism to our game”… Sack them, immediately.

Please for the love of the last remaining good thing in this micro transaction infested sess pit just add the intros back in as they were.

In previous titles, we noticed that many players tended to skip the extended intros, and in the process sometime miss important information and context. In FC 24, we shortened the intro scenes and presented that important information and context upfront.

While many players have welcomed this change, we truly value the passion our players have for the complete match day atmosphere, so we will continue to gather feedback and suggestions and evaluate future changes.

This is a truly horrific “solution” to a non-issue. It hurt nobody at all to just skip the long intros. I know friends who did just that. Those same friends also skip the ‘new’ intros. So what exactly has been fixed with taking away those long intros from those who actually want to see them?

I, for one, never skipped an intro. I treated every career match as a game I was present at. The buildup was crucial to sell that little fantasy.

Now I’ve started some absolutely top games that would have a truly amazing buildup, only to see one player highlighted in the underground busstop.

EA Sports FC 24’s career modes just aren’t as fun without these long and nice intros. I get that for someone who always skips them (I can only assume you’re also one of those people) that doesn’t mean anything to them. But for those of us who live each virtual game as a real game we are leading as a manager or star player… those intros matter. A lot.

I believe replacing the intros with these new quick montages looked good on paper, especially next to the stats of lots of people skipping the longer ones. But trust me, that was the wrong call.

I think I speak for the majority of people in this thread when I ask you, EA Sports, to bring back the option to see the longer intros. Port them back from the PS4/Xbone versions… we don’t need a brand new intro (eventhough that would be nice), but just give us back our intros.

P.S.: I know there has been a lot of hostility on this thread, but could we please open up a dialog? 

Please EA bring them back as fast as possible! It is honestly a deal breaker for me.

Please roll back this awful decision. I don’t enjoy the game at all because of this. 

The Ultimate Team fanboys can still skip it for christ sake. Or make it an option. How hard can it be?

Hi everyone

In other words guys, it looks like what they are saying is that the YouTubers, Twitch streamers, etc who spend loads of money buying packs on Ultimate Team and making EA look like angels when they net a icon George Best or Zico and all the in forms in the game so they get the best side ever.. have gone on to complain that they can't get into the matches really quickly and just play the game..

I was playing a old NBA 2K earlier and I love the presentation and immersion that you get with them games.. you have Ernie, Shaq and Kenny in the studio talking about the match in question which EA could have done with I don't know but Jeff Stelling and a couple of pundits, at half time on 2K the panel was discussing still the game.. EA could have done that as well but most of all, 2K have interviews with the players with their real voices..

I am sure when EA go around to do their yearly face scans around say the PL which they have fully licensed, they could get the players and managers to just record some lines and that would add to the immersion of post match interviews in Career Mode..

As on offline player I would like to simply know if it will be patched in? If not please tell me and allow me a full refund as this is a deal breaker for me. We had no warning that features were being removed this year, and some of the best ones at that!

Although nice of you to respond after close to a month 😂

Starting Champions League game all I could see was Kubo is a current top scorer and match started right after. Pathetic matchday experience.
