Bug with tactics

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? tactics, since the update me tactics switched but my instructions are the same
What happens when the bug occurs? my cdm which is supposed to stay and cover the center of the pitch is now drifting to the left to cover the wing, while my cm that is supposed to cover the wing based on the instructions stays center, but the attacking formation stays the same so they run around each other every time it switches from attack to defence.
What should be happening instead? My cdm should based on the instructions cover the middle of the pitch with my right cm, while my left cm is supposed to cover the left wing.
so my tactics for attack is a 433, but for defence it switches to a 442, with 1 of my wingers and my striker staying in attack, and 1 winger covering his wing in defence which is my right wing, so in my tactics my left cm should cover the left wing for defence, but since like 4-5 days back something has gone wrong, i dont know if its the patch or what it is but i haven´t change anything with my setting. But now my cdm covers the wing instead of my cm so for defence my cdm runs to the wing, and when it switches to attack he runs back to the middle of the pitch so its annoying and ruins some of the switches from attack to defence since the have to swap places all the time. Tried fixing it by doing something different with the tactics for the players but its still not working as intended.
