Can't buy players on the transfer market

Hi there. So it seems I was using the transfer market "too fast" when bidding for players (don't see how this is an issue), and as it turns out I have not been able to bid or buy now anyone in THREE WHOLE DAYS. This issue is effecting me on console, phone, and web app. The error message reads out "There was an error communicating with the Football Ultimate Team servers. Please try again." I'm quite annoyed at this as all I want to do is play the game and prepare for Team of the Year but I'm getting restricted due to something that is completely legal. Is anyone else having/had this issue and how do I fix it??
