Can't Renew Contract with Current Team in Career Mode - All Objectives Met

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Advancing to the end of the season and trying to renew contract with your current team, you will not see the option to renew despite meeting all mandatory contract objectives.
What happens when the bug occurs? When this bug occurs you are unable to renew contract with your team and are either ⚽ forced to transfer to a different club or 🏈 you are unable to join a new club, resulting in not being able to continue your career.
What should be happening instead? We should be able to renew contracts with your current team if all the mandatory objectives have been met.
I'm unable to renew my contract with Real Madrid despite completing all mandatory contract objectives. When I play/sim through the last Euro match and select "End Season" I'm met with the contract negotiations screen where I find that there's no "renew contract" option for me to select. It even says I'm eligible to renew contract but still no button to click. I'm only able to transfer. Very frustrating that I can't progress through career mode because of this game breaking bug. This has been a known issue for many players since September, and still no sign that this is being addressed from EA. This game mode is currently unplayable because of this as many absolutely can not progress any further.
