I fixed the issue currently by using a ps4 controller instead of the ps5 controller I was trying at first. I would prefer to use my ps5 controller but I don't see any other work around for this currently. I believe that the issue lies in that my game uses the EA play launcher instead of the steam launcher.

Community ManagerIf working with a different controller @S1lent_Sp1rt562 then this would point to an issue with the controller rathe than the game.
