I played more than 10 matches online and I had delay in every one. It starts in 10 min of the game with 1 sec lag and then I always have 1 sec delay so I have really good gameplay till 10s and it lasts till the end of the match. Its really annoying. I downloaded latest drivers, I restarted everything, I did everything i could and still there is this problem. Online gaming is unplayable! I paied so much money to just enjoy this game but I cannot. Just patch this game and then sell it to people. Its not beta anymore...

Are any of you experiencing speed up lag or is it just input delay?

That's a pretty rough connection. You've got a high amount of packet loss so that would be the issue. What platform are you playing on?

I think is input lag, it also happens to me and it is not good to play like that
have not had any speed up lag, just input delay. Haven't had this problem before, I play on PC with a very stable connection. Very disappointed as it only happens in online modes like rivals and makes it unplayable.

I have same problem like others sience fifa 23. Few months ago i upgrade my internet 100/100 score on oficial ea test, really low input lag.
My feelings it’s like my team got -20 to all stats. Actually can’t do nothing against player who have normal gameplay. When i matched someone with same problem game looks like two bronze cards team with 30 pace.
I saw some post about ea servers and looks should be only one reason. Only wonder why not everyone have this issue.

i get it, I have worked in tech support before, but if loads of people are telling you there’s a problem, there’s a clear problem. Fix it. Do what they pay you to do. Report it to the dev team. We’re consumers of your product and clearly not happy with your service and with the product itself. I understand there’s troubleshooting and steps to take, knowledge articles, etc. but it’s clear that these issues are well beyond that, so treat it as such. There was an update released yesterday that did not address any of these issues appropriately. I have half a mind to get a refund because this was daylight robbery.

Community ManagerHello, everyone. Since we're not aware of any issues currently, we need to keep connection troubleshooting in mind. Once again, if you can run the Connection Quality Report and capture screenshots of the overall score and match history, that would be a big help. Also, as I mentioned previously, a video with the input overlay showing is also important. Make sure you note what platform you're playing on and if a wired or wireless connection is being used.

Input lag can also be related to the HDMI cable you're using. It should be a premium cable. Especially if you're on Xbox Series S/X or PS5. Disabling V-Sync on monitors also helped in the past.
You can also try alternate DNS settings. Those instructions for PC are here.
For Xbox, go to the Xbox home screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings). From there, enter the Primary DNS as "208.67.222.222" and the Secondary DNS as "208.67.220.220". If that doesn't help, try using the google DNS servers which are: primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.
For PlayStation, see the instructions here. If you don't see a difference, try the Google DNS servers. Those are: Primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - Secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.
Sluggish and unresponsive gameplay at PS5. Tried cable,Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot connections. The same thing. It’s unplayable.
I experience both. Speed up lag when the camera has to move a further distance (not like when it's actually MS lag) and input lag all the time since last update.
