EA Servers are unavailable right now error for past 24 hrs

Hi

i can’t logon to FC24 and EA support suggested I post here for help.  I am on PS5 via LAN.

i have been getting this error:-

EA servers are unavailable right now.  Please try again later.  Go to ea.com/unable-to-connect for additional information.

I have tried all the suggested troubleshooting guides such as:-

1). Power cycled router and PS5

2). Changed to google DNS

3). Tried mobile hotspot

4). Restored licence

5). Cleared cache and rebuilt database

6). I can logon via the iPad app, so I don’t think it’s account related

7). Updated to latest ps5 firmware and also latest version of FC24

Not sure if there is anything left that I can do, as I think it might be on the EA side, but support says they can only submit my error, since the previous “known” issue has been resolved.

    Anyone has any ideas or has the same issue?


    I am at a lost of what I can do.  Even uninstalled and downloaded the game again (50GB], but still the same issue.

    Update from EA support is that this is a server issue and they are receiving a lot of reports from Brazil and Singapore.  Issue is being worked on but there is no ETA.

    i am not sure how many people are affected, but I guess if it affected one of the you tubers, this issue might have gained more priority.
