Anyone tried this with the new update?
So I have been dealing with this problem… and have found out when the game tries to delete your players so u can save and repeat to try and beat it… The game will attempt to delete players either during the season whenever your youth scouts send reports of new players or during the loading screen between “end season” and the new season beginning. Unfortunately, sometimes it will take reloading your manual save as much as 10+ times before you get what you’re looking for.
I started with 5 created players in my club, after I lost one mid s01 I started making saves before the end of each calendar month. If the game deletes reload and try again. I am just starting my 4th season and still have all 4 of my remaining created players (although after s03 I had to retry the save at least 15 times before I got an iteration without any deleted players).
the game will sometimes warn you it’s about to happen with a “player contracts expiring” email with no list of expiring contracts 🤷🏻♂️ but don’t rely on the warning keep making saves just in case… I have it so my scouts report on the 1st of the month so I always try to make a save before the end of the calendar month 👌.
hope this was helpful EA deserve to be exiled from all gaming platforms for their poor product quality and customer service.
