EAFC24 Cant control players in Online games

As the title says, I cant play online games, as soon as I jump in I cant control any players, my controller becomes useless ingame, but as soon as the ingame menu comes up its fine? Ive tried veryfyi...

What worked for me is going to setting and deleting all the saves and stuff for clubs and ultimate team then resetting my game and when i loaded back into ultimate team I did a download and my game worked again
