Just today I heard from a person who has been like this since October and has still not received a solution...
I think EA doesn't care about us... EA FC 25, no way
Hey all,
You can't discard players selected for an active Evolution.
You can discard your player once you have completed the Evolution or that evolution has expired.
If the evolution has already expired, but still you can't discard the card, please share with us the following details:

Hi i have this to with my bompastor and i cant do
the evlution now or open packs so i cant even play a game because she was in my starting 11

I dont have the card in my club and i cant discard her so i can not play any games she was my left back and i cant open packs so i cant play games because i dont have a left back i already had contact 4 times with ea with the chat but there still has not happend any thing please just help me

I can see from the picture the Evolution is still active, you need to complete it (or wait for it to expire) if you want to discard this card.

- 2 years ago@EA_LeonSK No that is not it i cant complete it because i cant send the card to my club and i want to complete it, it says it is a dubplicate but it is not duplicate

Hi @EA_LeonSK,
So my issue, is that I started an EVO with Lavia and I recovered my old Lavia to stick into an SBC.
I now have an issue where the game says my card is a duplicate and I can't add back into my squad and complete the evolution.- Platform: PS5
- Gamertag: TheWheeeeeelDeal
- Name & Rating of the card stuck: Lavia (80)
- Evolution submitted: Growth Spurt 1
So from what I understand, I can't do anything until the evolution has expired? This means I will miss out on my upgraded Lavia, which is annoying and I can't open any packs because of this.

same problem here, my card appears as a duplicate but it's not. The Evo is still active and it's not completed but I can't send the card to my club (to complete it) or discard it (to open packs).

I know that the Evo is still active but I have no option to complete it and it expires in 17 days! (not fair)
I think you should do something so that at least I can open packs (if you want you can delete my Capdevila)

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to the store and try and open pack when an evo player is stuck in unassigned
What happens when the bug occurs? Did the wrong Evo with Lavia, so i bought him again and started the new Evo on him. Recovered the old to evo 86 rated to put in an sbc. Now active 83 evo Lavia is stuck In unassigned. Can’t quick sell him or add him back to active squad. Can’t open packs in the store.
What should be happening instead? Should be added to active squad
