@kickithard, you're spot on. FC24 is hands down the worst FIFA series ever, and I'm saying this as an old timer over 50 who's been playing FIFA since the inaugural edition called FIFA International Soccer back in 1993. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since then, but in this latest version, we've witnessed the absolute nadir of what technology can offer.
The crux of the matter is that the programming focus has undergone a complete shift. In the bygone years, the primary endeavor was to deliver an immersive and enjoyable experience. However, the contemporary development team appears more like a bunch of fortune hunters. The software has been crafted with the overarching aim of enticing users to splurge on add-ons, online purchases, upgrades, and anything else that can keep EA's coffers brimming. Peace of minde, fortunately there are something else for fun out there.
I won't utter the keywords that get under EA's skin, but essentially, users aren't all naive. The developers have shamelessly crossed the line in their avid pursuit of financial gain. Indeed, FC24 is a letdown.
