FC24: SSD 100% usage, speed up lag

Initially, I thought it was network-related but it seems to be disk usage. FC24 runs on my SSD at about 35% (disk usage) and will at random points during an online game spike to 100% for 5-10 seconds causing the game to freeze and then speed up making it unplayable during this period.

I have reinstalled Windows, EA and FC24 but this still takes place. I've also moved the documents folder for FC24 onto the same drive & added it as an exception for antivirus.

Does anyone have a fix, that can assist with troubleshooting?

    Hi, my issue has now been resolved.

    I did a complete wipe of all drives and reinstalled the OS and FC24 onto the same drive which in this case was an M.2.

    The initial boot of FC24 had a re-occuring stutter but after a re-boot the game has been playing smoothly with no 100% issue for a full week.

    I'm experiencing an issue where my system heavily utilizes my disk during matches, specifically when playing FC 24. I'm unsure of the cause and need assistance urgently. Can someone help me troubleshoot this problem?

    @Nodlocnost, your reply in my case directed to the solution. I've also had stutters in offline game (I play mostly career mode) during the matches, which occured randomly after the start of the match.

    I have noticed that FC24 is reading %appdata%/local/Temp/FC 24/_replay0.bin and I'm having spikes in disk usage. Since this folder was on my OS drive, such freezes and stutters are undertandable.

    Since Temp folder is written in Windows variables I decided to move it my D: drive (in my case I have C and D drives). After I moved this folder to other drive, there was no disk load on my OS drive and due to that my game is not stuttering anymore. I can not guarantee that this will solve your case, but it worth a try.

    Its a form of scripting games on PC. Its not a "bug" its a way for them to script games and make you concede. The lag usually stops right after the opponent has scored, could take 5-10 seconds or if this is not enough it could take about 30sec. Not to mention the fact that everything else works during that period😂, The scoreboard moves, the physics work (flags etc). and the advertisment boards move aswell during the "lag". There is no other explanation since no other game or program makes my disk go 100% from 20% randomly. They know EXACTLY what theyre doing.
