Game freezes when I recieve pack rewards from the objectives screen

Has happened twice since the Holiday update came out. Both times I was claiming packs from objective rewards. Claimed all rewards first time, and claimed a single reward with A button second time, both times game becomes unresponsive. Unplugging controller has no effect. Controller works during as I can press R2 to bring up EA overlay, but A button does not work to let me advance from the pack rewards screen.
