If I buy ps5 version of FC24 can I then play on ps4 after ?

If I buy the ps5 version does this mean I can also then play it on ps4 and be able to play with my mates on ps4 as well?

    Hi there @yuvir9 

    Yes, currently the Digital Standard Edition and the Digital Ultimate Edition contains both PS4 & PS5 versions of FC24 included in the purchase

    So you will be able to play the PS5 version, and switch to the PS4 version to play with your friends who are on PS4 - the PS5 and PS4 versions are separate downloads/files so you will need space on your PS5 storage if you want to play both and switch between the two generations 🙂

    The disc version of PS5 standard edition doesn't seem to have a download of PS4 version however the disc version of PS4 includes a free upgrade of the PS5 version.

@Kruzz456  That is strange, have you tried from your PS5 home screen and from the store also?

Try logging into Playstation.com on a PC, then select your Game Library from your account and it will show you all versions that you have purchased available to download.

If you can not find the PS4 version to download at Playstation.com then you can chat to them by selecting Support, Games, Games Support, "ask a Playstation expert" or try troubleshooting with the options available there:

  • Switching between PS5 and PS4 game versions on your PS5 console
  • Playing issues (Unable to download, locate game, etc)
