Item Ineligible To Evolve

I am wanting to evolve Dante Polvara using the Golden Glow Up evolution however I can't due to his main position not being centre midfield

He has the alternative position for central midfield, and meets all the statistical requirements, however because it isn't his primary position, he cannot be evolved

I feel that, if this is on purpose, anyone with the ability to play in the position should be able to get the upgrades

I also noticed in the EA Promotional Livestream that there was a minimum rating requirement (on an evolution now removed), and I feel that it is contradictory to the point that you can upgrade players that you wouldn't normally be able to use properly
