Keyboard and Mouse only works in Practice not in Game FC24

I am playing on EA app and when i am in practice mode i can use keyboard and mouse just fine. However, as soon as i get into any game it forces keyboard only making it incredibly annoying to play the game. I have searched everywhere and found no solution to this. Please help this game is quite expensive and seems like a waste right now. Thank you!
