Kicked at start of every Rivals Game

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a rivals match on my account
What happens when the bug occurs? The "you lost connection, and we will determine the result" pop up comes up every time right after lineups are shown.
What should be happening instead?
About a day ago my ability to play a rivals match randomly disappeared. Every time I start one I get all the way to the lineups being shown before I get the "you lost connection and we will determine the result" pop up comes up on my screen. I'm able to play online friendlies such as the Evo Lounge, and obviously squad battle matches still work. I'm also able to play online Pro Clubs matches. No idea why this all of a sudden started happening. Sometimes when I load up my game EA isn't able to get my cloud data (also don't know why this started happening), so I have to use the local data. However it hasn't worked when it did load the cloud data the one time, so I'm not sure if this affects it at all.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled once, and then reverified my game files via steam. It found 3 missing files, fixed it, and it still wouldn't let me play rivals. Changed the matchmaking to solo opponents, no luck with that either.
