Losing control of game inputs FC24 on PC

I have same problem

I solved this issue, when I reinstalled windows, 
I also reinstalled all apps, this meant steam was launching in the background on launch and having it open in the background messes with controllers and was causing the issue, i had to open the control panel in bottom right of start menu bar at the bottom of the screen, right click the steam icon and click exit steam then close and reopen FC24

turning off steams 'launch on startup' setting fixes it permanently. 

idk why steams interface messes with controller settings, considering i wasnt even playing FC24 through steam i play it through EA app.

make sure steam isnt running in background

(check control centre on rioght hand side of windows start menu bar at bottom of screen and exit steam)

I have the same issue, i bought the game from steam even though i launch my game from EA it still opens up steam and when i try to close the steam while the game is on it closes the game. Any other fix?
