Manager/Career Mode Goalkeeper doesn’t rush

While I’m playing in career/manager mode when I try to rush the keeper by holding the triangle button (ps4) he’s stuck inside the box. He rushes out normally if the ball is by the halfway line, but the moment the ball is in the box he’s stuck to the spot. Extremely disappointed with EA for not caring about offline players!!
