nintendo switch FC 24 connection problem

Hi, 

I am a beginner with all this so please be patient. My son downloaded FC24 onto his Nintendo Switch and he can play offline but it will not connect online. It hasn't given him an option nor can we find how to log into his EA sport account so I'm not sure whether this is the problem or not? A message just keeps popping up saying "This account can't get online. There are a few reasons why this might be. See https://ea.com/unable-to-connect for possible reasons and some troubleshooting you can try." I have done this but nothing helpful comes up. Any ideas???

    Yooooo! This is the problem! I had the same problem as all the other posters. You have to have an Adult Nintendo Switch account AND and Adult EA Games account. Frustrating, but we're playing right now!

    I recently had another post on here and EA responded and told me that you needed both an adult nintendo account and a nintendo online subscription. You can check if your account is supervised or not, based on what your child's age is entered when you set up the account. Log onto your Nintendo Account associated with the profile on the Switch (or family group if you have a family child account) and It should show up as like 2 smiley faces(see photo). Ages 12 and under don't work and there's is no way to change it so you have to set up a new 13+ aged account in order to play it apparently

    Had the same problem and EA online chat couldn't help. As stated above was solved by me creating an adult EA account and linking my sons.

    I have checked the ea account and the nintendo account and both are adult accounts. I get on the green loading screen and carnt get any further. I have tried all the step by step troubleshooting steps and still can't seem to get anywhere with this.

    Both my Ea and nintendo accounts are adult ones when they was set up. Did they give anymore information ?

    Hi, I have made an EA account but even after I check the connection status, I have full bars! Does anyone know how to ACTUALLY connect to EA servers? Its a joke!
