There have been multiple issues and bugs from years in all FIFA games for the keyboard controller, but no one cares to resolve it.
For this issue, you can try to change frame rate and related settings and check if it works for you. That could be one of the issue, I have tried but it only worked sometimes for me. Finally, I have stopped playing any online content of the game. It's just too bad.
Other possible reason for the problem could be related to the network connection or DNS. I tried a lot, but could not resolve it. Once it starts to become unresponsive to the keyboard inputs, it does not get corrected.
