Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Sign or sell a player on a pre contract, specifically a Bosman ruling. So a player with 6 months or less on their deal.
What happens when the bug occurs? The player joins the club in January instead of July. Simple fix I assume as you can sign players with a year left at any point this game.
What should be happening instead? Player joins at the end of his contract. July.
You can sign players with 6 months left of their contract in December and before. They will join you in January instead of July. The Bosman rule and previous games don’t allow this.
