(PS5) When I pressed Circle to shoot my player plays a through ball.

I've been in a few games where I've pressed Circle, intending to shoot only for my player to play a through ball. The game from then on registers circle and triangle as the same button, my ps5 behaves normally outside of the game, Fifa23's control's aren't influenced.

Changing the control scheme doesn't fix it, only reinstalling the game does. I've had to reinstall FC24 several times because the game decided to break in this fashion.

Is there a fix for this? Mapping the inputs to different buttons Triangle to square allows me to play the game with all inputs working but this isn't an actual fix.
