Random matchups and consequent high pings in online seasons on FC 24

This has been a very big issue with this new edition in Online Seasons (maybe also Ultimate Team) and it has made games very unplayable. Also, for some reason, this seems to be a problem that affects only West Africans, from my research. 

EA mounted up on a server in Lagos, Nigeria earlier this year after so much clamor, and that made online gaming for West Africans on Fifa 23 much enjoyable. 

Only for FC 24 to be released and we would be left faced with random matchups against opponents that aren’t on our servers. 

We get the occasional correct match up with a close opponent but it’s like riding your luck because more often than not, EA pairs you up against people from Europe, North and South America and even Asia! 

It’s frustrating as the game constantly plays on a 150ms+ ping when connecting to those distant servers, basically rendering gameplay useless! 

EA, please do something about it and fix the connection issues as we can’t pay the big bucks just to have an unsatisfactory game year.
