Re: Blue screen of death trying to open ea fc

Fix for BSOD in FC 25 (What worked for me) :

  1. Delete the EA Anti-Cheat Folder:

    • Navigate to C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\EA (or the equivalent location on your PC).
    • Find the folder named EA Anti-Cheat and delete it.
  2. Disable XMP in BIOS:

    • Restart your PC and enter the BIOS settings.
    • Locate the XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) option and set it to Auto or Disabled.
  3. Disable CPU Turbo Boost in BIOS:

    • While in the BIOS, find the CPU Turbo Boost feature.
    • Disable it.
  4. Adjust Windows Exploit Protection Settings:

    • Open Windows Security and go to App & Browser Control > Exploit Protection Settings > Program Settings.
    • Add the path to your FC 25 executable file.
    • Under Control Flow Guard (CFG), select Override System Settings and turn the button Off.
  5. Restart Your PC:

    • After making these changes, restart your computer and try running FC 25 again.

P.S. I made all these changes at once, so I’m not sure if just one of them fixed the issue or if all of them are necessary.
