If using a different windows admin account works @VanguardDK then this points to an issue with your existing admin account

- @EA_Darko So what do I do? I've never had this issue before. I've tried reinstalling the EA-app.

Play on the new Windows admin account @VanguardDK or troubleshoot the existing one to find the issue.

Even if not an admin account @VanguardDK you can use that one to play.
For Window account issues you'd need to speak with Windows support for troubleshooting.

- @EA_Darko The EA-app is the only thing causing issues. The game launched normally in the beginning, after getting pass the "Game not released yet"-issue, and then this just started happening out of the blue. Seems like something you should do something about. I'm also getting a "%gameName% is already running" when trying to launch other games.
- @EA_Darko It also works when changing the date to the 23th on my main account, so I guess there's some issue with the EA-app?

That still points to an issue with the Windows account @VanguardDK.
If it was an issue with the EA app or the game then you would expect to see it on the other account.
Darko Your suggestion that it's an issue with the Windows profile is, quite frankly, laughable. Your software, either the app itself or the anticheat, stopped working on the 24th of September. The fact that it works on a 'new' Windows profile suggests that your software has caused an issue in the local user registry that prevents the game from launching, because, as you've said yourself, it works on a new profile which has a blank local user registry. This is not a fix to the problem, it's a workaround, and one that isn't very good or particularly viable for people who have things on their main Windows profile that are impossible or difficult to transfer to the new one... I'm a software developer and I'd be fired if something I'd developed caused an issue on this scale and then didn't actually provide a proper solution.

Hey @Noitares issues with your Windows profile account are something that you would need to work on yourself.
That the game works on a new account means that the issue is on your side and something you need to work on fixing.
Darko Dude listen, if i had no problems before i must say thet @Noitares is right. Ure game * up our library and now u are here saying "it's a problem of yours". ARE U ACTUALLY * SERIOUS? U can't program a * game that's the same every year and the problem is ours? Nobody can start the * game and the problem is ours? There is something wrong in EA team
Hundreds of people with this bug and it's our fault??? I did absolutely nothing and got this error. Tried multiples fixes mentioned and nothing works, still unable to play any game through the EA App. Maybe you should work on finding out how to fix it for us as every other game launcher works, Steam, Epic, GOG. Why does EA App decide not to work?

Darko Its been three days of this error happening and you guys haven't had a single solution to show for it. How about taking some accountability over our lost time and actually finding a solution big guy?
- @EA_Darko It is what it is man... when you guys are ignoring us for 5 days... people that paid 100€ (wich is VERY expensive btw ) and still cant play the game. already sbumitted various emails, various posts, 0 response.
I played 60 hours EA FC 24 and problems started. I could'nt play this game yesterday until you fix "release date problem". Yesterday i played this game again and i have "install ea app" problem now.
HOW CAN IT BE OUR FAULT????

Exactly what happened to me. The only way to launch the game is through creating a different account on your PC, as someone else suggested. Paying the extra dollar for early access and suddenly you lose access to every game you have in the app, lol.
Ea error second in 2 days for why i play 90 dollars if you cant let me to play it?

If you're still running into this same error when launching EAS FC 24 for PC, could you please share the following information with us here in the thread:
- Your EA app Error Report ID,
- Which version of the EA app you're running,
- Which version of the game you have bought,
- If you have pre-ordered the game via the EA app/Epic/Steam/3rd party code, or via EA Play Pro.
To check which version of the EA app you're running: open the EA app > Click on the hamburger menu in the top-left corner > Click on 'About' and please mention the App version. It should look something like "App version: 13.27.0".

Can we please be giving some form of ETA on a fix, as well as some form of promise that it will be fixed within a realistic time period? In addition to that, are we going to be compensated for this continuous downtime? Considering we have all paid for the privilege of what seems to be bug testing rather than actually playing your game... @EA_Leeuw
