Re: NOT GETTING VERIFICATION CODE

If the verification codes aren't coming through, a back-up code can be used in it's place in a pickle. If you don't have those stored somewhere, no worries! Our support team can look into it for you and help route the codes through to another email for example.

Use these steps to reach them: 

  1. On PC, click: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/
  2. Search and select 'EA App' in the search bar.
  3. In the menu on the left, click 'Manage my account'
  4. Followed by 'I need help logging into my account'. 

This should help a contact option appear by bringing you to a new page that looks like this:

Look for the heading called 'Still need help' and select from the contact options that appear. For example, I get the option to get in touch via live chat when I follow those steps.

    im in the help line since 20‘ and its still saying queue is 20‘ its not going forward

  • Thank you, turns out i forgot i was using the wrong email address, however, it doesn’t explain why sms option didn’t work. Good news is we are in now anyway and sending me to the website reminded me about the other email address cheers

  • @EA_Lanna unfortunately this doesn't help.

    I've been in a queue for over 3 hours now and not been seen to. it started out saying it was a 15 minute wait, and now 3 hours later it says there's still a 22 minute wait.

    EA should just publish codes if their verification system is so badly broken that after 11 hours the tech's still haven't been able to fix the error.

    a whole day of FUT and counting is now lost for early access pre-order
  • @DubLdubya I try to add a phone number to my account or even a back up email but they want to send a verification code on website to see if it’s me and that doesn’t even come through either
  • @EA_Lanna Please either help me add a back up email or phone number to my account atleast, or help me log in this is too long a wait.
  • it's crazy ... and 11 hours later there's still no word or comms from EA about the problem.

    urge everyone to check you are checking the correct email address this was my problem

    To see a back up code you need the verification code so ????
