Re: PC Stuttering EAFC 24

@dj_j0hn163 But you said earlier (a month ago before title update) .. to use 2560 as Resolutionwidth. Has that changed with the latest updates to: ?
RESOLUTIONWIDTH = 1080 (set the resolution on what u play)
RESOLUTIONHEIGHT = 1920

    Guys,

I was able to fix it!

The game is now running super smooth, even cutscenes are fine now.

The steps I took (in exact order)

    1. repair the game (I did it through EA App)

    2. Shut down computer then turn on

    3.
Nvidia Control Panel >  Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > Add FC 24

    change these settings:

    low latency mode: ULTRA

power management mode: Prefer Maximum performance

    vertical sync: on

    Hit Apply

    4. open the game by running the launch file directly from the install folder, right click and make sure you run it as administrator

5 go to Settings > Display Configuration

    Display mode: Full Screen

Refresh Rate: mine is on 144Hz

    Vertical Sync: on

    Dynamic Resolution Scale: off

Cutscene Quality: mine is on Full fram rate

    Strand Based Hair: off

    Rendering Quality: High

    Grass Quality High

    Crowd Quality: High

I hope this helps you guys as well!

    my pc specs:

    Ryzen 9 5900x

    Nvidia 2080 Super

    64 gb ram at 3200

    Just trying to help,

you never know it might help someone else as well.

I just played my first rival match with no input delay, no lag, and no stuttering during gameplay

    And I won the game.

I’m sorry to hear that ☹️

Unfortunately sometimes what works for one person, might not work for someone else with different pc specs.

I hope you can find a solution as soon as possible.

I know how frustrating it is.

Something weird, after i reinstall the game, it dont let me choose refresh rate in the setting, it locks at 120hz despite my laptop is 165hz. This game is really bad rn

Once you enable Vsync to remove the stutter in full screen, you can remove input lag by limiting FPS (in graphic card panel) to your monitor refresh rate.

It works well on Radeon card, less on Nividia because Nvdia FPS limiter introduces some input lag too.

@mrkrabcake7 you can set resolution you want, with higher resolution it still works better but i find input delays

You can change Nvidia settings indefinitely. It only works for a moment anyway.
  • Lag and stuttering is way more frequent for me after the latest patch. The game is unplayable on PC...

  • Don't waste time messing with Nvidia settings. Because the PC version of the game is obviously problematic. In all the settings I tried with 4080 ti, the game is either very slow or stuttering. In both cases it is impossible to play online matches. While the players of the opposing team run like usain bolt, my players are slow like carrying a load on their backs.

  • i don't know if it can be useful, but i was playing very smoothly with all Ultra settings before Title update 3, after that all the stuttering with cutscenes started.. and i also have the brightness change after any cutscene.

    3050ti + i7 11xxx + 32 gig ram

damn.......... what the hell they did with that update i don't know....
