Where is the quality control? Did EA not test the steam/PC use of the game? Are issues like this not meant to be tested during the beta?

This is an important piece of information. I am using the EAapp version. Just now someone mentioned that uninstalling the game client can be used again, which is true! After reinstallation, there will be a network security consent prompt. For some reason, I did not confirm the first installation. After reinstallation, I can access the UT function normally through network access consent. I hope it can help everyone!

Steam forces you to install EAFC via Steam even when having the EA-APP. So no fix for Steam users currently.

I tried today at lunch time to reinstall everything on steam and it didn't work.

I know its not the best thing to pay more but trust me, if you buy EA play then launch the game from store page of steam connect to ea servers, then u can relaunch the game normally so ur trial hours dont get used. its 4€ if u have it go get the ea play so u arent losing any more time

Didn’t work. I bought the ea play on steam and launched still cannot connect. Restricted 

Go to the steam store, choose an EA subscription there and click play. It really helped.

I am on ea app as well. Uninstalled the game and app, reinstalled both and still doesn't work. Same error as before. This is pretty ridiiculous.
