What happens when the bug occurs? Lag while playing every few seconds. Never had performance issues since getting the game a few months ago. Got an update a few days back - updated and didn't play because I couldn't get online. Tried to play on my lunch break a few days ago and it was unplayable. every few seconds the framerate would drop so the game plays like a bad internet connection but not playing online. Checked internet - reset router, same issue. Rest of the game like menu etc doesn't lag but just in game. Have only been playing in squad battles because i don't want to have to quit a rivals game. Saw others having issues on reddit a few months back (old post) someone suggested turning off game mode on laptop - tried this and didn't fix anything. Tried playing other mode like training arena etc and didn't have the issue so it's an ultimate team thing. Really frustrating experience.
What should be happening instead? Smooth gameplay i've been experiencing for the last few months. No changes to laptop/hardware etc. Just updated the game a few days back.
