Unable to connect, platform client.

I was logged on and playing online for EA FC 24. Left ultimate team open and running, came back 20 minutes later and said I lost connection.

I have been unable to reconnect for 2 hours now, while all my friends on Xbox are on and currently playing. I am getting this message every time: 

“Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your internet connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and try again.”

I have restarted console, set up DNS to Google, cleared cache, cleared persistent storage, have an open nat type, restarted modem/router, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, cleared saved data for the game, and hard reset my Xbox, all to no avail.

I can’t even open a new case on EA help. Please help!!!

    Thank you all for your reports. Our team has investigated the issue and determined that it was caused by a local ISP problem. Hopefully, this issue should have been resolved by now. If you are still experiencing difficulties connecting, we recommend trying an alternative network in the meantime if that's possible.

  • Hi everyone, I am playing the EA Sports FC 24 game and recently, I am facing a problem where I am getting disconnected at random from the game. In particular, these four situations are the one where I am getting DCed the most:

    1. While entering the game I get an Unable to connect to EA servers message even though my internet is working absolutely fine. 

    2. After multiple retries even if I get in and start to play the game (suppose squad battles), whenever I make a sub, I get kicked out from the game with the following message:

    3. I also get kicked out of ultimate time when I try to buy some players from the sbc screen but it works fine when I buy from the transfer market. 

    4. Interestingly, in EA App I also 500 error which says the server encountered a mysterious error. 

    I switched from a wireless to a wired connection. The speedtest provides the following results:

    I also did the EA connection test and I got 73/100 in that. 

    Any idea why this is happening and any fixes for this problem? Thanks in advance!

    EDIT: I have also cleared the cache in EA app. Also, I have reinstalled the app

    @lasalle621 not just in USA. Also here in Australia with certain ISP's. Havent been able to play for over 48 hours.

    @Cad_12038 AGL but they are partnered with Southern Phone which is also a lot of people's ISP that cant access servers atm. I also cant access other games on pc which makes me think is it not EA's end but the ISP's issue.
  • @soccernahuuu Ditto, this is complete crap. Recovering from back surgery and just want something to take my mind off the suck of it.

  • I have same issue. I can't connect to EA FC 24 ultimate team it always gives me unable to connect error. I just buy the game EA please help me. I want to play ultimate team and I can't find a solution.
