Feels to me like they've attempted to patch the "Leave the final step unclaimed so that you can put it into a separate evo to make an OP card" bug and they've ended up breaking evos from top to bottom
I've now got;
- Players that I evo'ed in the past and then got rid of them through SBCs, and I now can't do another evo from their gold card despite the previous evo not being in my club anymore
- Players that i've previously evo'ed, who now fit into a new evo, but it won't let me submit them into it because it says i've already got an evo version of that player
- Players that i've already done one evo for and are still in my club as fodder, but even if their base version fits into a brand new evo, it won't let you submit them because you already have a different version of that card
The fact that we're in April and all of this is still ongoing, suggests to me that it's not going to be fixed. Sadly the community are partly to blame for trying to abuse bugs to get 99 rated cards within the first few months of the game, but EA made an absolute hash of evolutions. Great concept, poor execution
