Am I the only one who feels that nerfing finesse+ was a cheat by EA?
I feel it was an unethical cheat by EA to nerf finesse+, and it was also a theft. Before going into my opinion, I'd like to say that I've been playing the game since FIFA 05. I have never expressed any criticism even though there were times that I didn't get an icon from a pack for over three years. I accepted my chances. But now I'm angry and feel screwed over.
It's as if I went into a car dealer shop where the dealer incentivised me to buy a car by saying there's a super boost button that allowes the car to go with 300km/h. Due to this feature, and only this, I buy the car. I enjoy it for a while but then suddenly, the button is removed from the car without my consent. They say that the car was too fast (what the hell?! that's what made me buy the car!) That would be the moment that I would go to the police and file a report, while asking for my money back, because when buying the car, I bought one that can go up to 300km per hour. Then the dealer decided that they would nerf the car that I already own down to 200.
Back to the game - I have completed SBCs for millions of coins (eg. Salah, Dalglish) specifically for the finesse+ playstyle. I bought FC points for money to be able to complete the SBCs.
I have paid money for a product of a specific quality. If others criticised the playtyle for being too strong, I still don't think EA had the right to scrap it, because everyone had the chance. Even a 20k coin Son could do it. So I think it is also unfair if the decision was made for the sake of 'level playing field', since we all know that this game is pay to win. Finesse shot was something that required skills and contributed to the beaty of gameplay.
I honestly feel that I've been robbed. Could EA compensate me and give me back the several millions of coins I spent on the finesse+ SBC players? Because to be honest, these are not the players that I've purchased. EA promised me something for a given sum, which I paid, and then suddenly the card has nothing to do with the card that I bought. Now what am I supposed to do with an SBC card that is untradeable and I got it because of the finesse+?
Without any irony - do you, EA, not feel that this was unfair towards gamers?
I'd like to get the millions of coins back, which I spent on these players. Then I'd be happy to quick sell these players because I don't want to keep them as fodder.
