Division rivals matchmaking

Me and a friend wanted to play a few games in division rivals, we are both division 10, the first time we found each other, we played a game, after that we couldn't find each other anymore. I don't know why that is but is very annoying. Mind you we played at a time where there was a low chance of finding anyone else randomly.
