Can’t play co-op friendlies on UT EAFC24

My friend and I are trying to play Co-op friendlies on the new centurion cup friendlies mode. We are able to join and each other and he started searching and it automatically says “error creating game session” and it ends the co-op session. We are on the same console (PS5). It also happens when i try to do it but my friend is the only one to get the message. Yet when we play co-op rivals it works just fine and smooth. I do not know what the issue could be have been sitting here trying to figure it out with him
