Request to Extend FC Points Transfer Deadline for EA FC 25

I wanted to start a discussion about the deadline for transferring FC Points from EA FC 24 to EA FC 25 and for future games
From what I understand, the transfer window closes around late December or early January each year. While I get that EA needs to set a cut‑off, I think this deadline is too soon for many players.
Here are a few reasons why I believe the transfer period should be extended:
•     Late Purchasers: Some players don’t buy the new game until after the holidays, meaning they miss the transfer window entirely.
•     Missed Notifications: Not everyone sees the in‑game prompt or gets an email reminder, so they lose their points without realizing it.
•     Player Goodwill: Extending the deadline would show flexibility and appreciation for the community, especially for loyal players who’ve invested in FC Points over multiple years.
My suggestion: Keep the transfer option open until at least the end of the game’s cycle (or at minimum, several months longer than it is now).
I’d love to hear from others — have you or someone you know missed the transfer deadline? Would you support EA extending it?
