Cannot send evo card to club after quick sell recovery

I cannot send my evo 86 alvarez back to my club after quick selling
Additional context:
I quick sold this card so that I could try a different evolution chain. I ended up not being able to complete the new evo, so quick sold that card in order to bring back the 86. I could not send it to the club. Afterwards, I realized I didn't claim a part of the evo chain for the new evo, so claimed it thinking that was the problem (that card was already quick sold). That didn't help. I waited for the new evo to not be recoverable to see if that was the issue, but there was no change.
Additionally, I tried to evo the base gold alvarez in a separate evo (pick it up / champs), but it gives the "An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again" error, which is the same as when you already have an evolved version of a card.
I suspect that the evolution that I claimed when the new evo was already quick sold is being seen as a card in my club, despite the fact that I cannot see that card. I think that that card needs to be purged somehow?
