after a bit more investigation it seems this issue may have started since the ultimate Team Maintenance carried out on March 20th

edited existing squad with different players (no change)
also
created a new squad with no players and set active (no change)
Also tried creating a New EA account (no change) and clearing the squad (sold all players including the manager) (no change)
1 - Unlink EA From Steam Or Epic ....
2 - Create NEW Account EA From (Another Network)
3 - Link Steam Or Epic ..... With The New EA
4 - Open EAFC24 And Enjoy Your Ultimate Team.
Note: It may take up to 15 minutes to be able to logon to the webapp or companion app seems to take a while to realise a session has ended.
