EAFC account hacked and items stolen
My EAFC 24 ut account got hacked on 13 nov. They took all of my tradeable squad players (including RTTK Modric and several others) , stole EAFC coins and then quicksold all other tradeable items in my club that I had saved since the start of the game. In total there were over 600k in items stolen.
I reported the incident to EA advisers and opened several cases to ask for help. I was told that there were no suspicious log ins on my account and that all log ins were from the same IP address which was my home address. I told the advisers that I had downloaded my ea data which clearly showed the suspicious log in on the date that my items were stolen. The log in was a random log in from a completely different location. The advisers said that they could not see this log in and that there were no suspicious log ins. As a result they shut my cases (which I was really disappointed with).
Following this, I have now downloaded my ea data and I have included a screenshot of my log ins on the date that my items were stolen. The attachment clearly shows the suspicious log in (which was the one used to steal my items). The screen shot also shows that the suspicious log in actually happened 30 seconds after I logged in from my regular home address IP which was a completely different location.
Furthermore, I received an e mail from EA today stating that they had reset my password on my ea account after suspicious activity / log ins on my account were identified. This e mail plus the screenshot clearly evidence the fact that items were stolen on 13 nov as reported.
I contacted EA help again and attached my downloaded data. I also showed them the e mail that I had from EA (hours earlier) stating that THEY had reset my password because THEY had observed suspicious behaviour on my account. DESPITE THIS THE ADVISER STILL claimed that he could not help or support me because there were no suspicious log ins !!!!!! I asked for the case to be escalated and he said he was not able to. This is THE WORST case of customer care I have EVER experienced !!!!
I am an honest, loyal EA customer who has supported EA Sports over many years. I am not looking to gain anything from this incident. I am simply looking to have my stolen items (which were acquired over many hours of gameplay) returned to my account.
surely someone at EA sports is actually able to help and support their customers ????
