Finesse shot plus not working

I have rashford in my squad and everytime if I shoot with R1+circle it doesn’t show the finesse shot+ in screen as a logo. When I shoot with my triple threat grealish, the logo is shown. When I shoot with L1 and R1 with rashford, however the logo is shown. Is this a bug in the game with my rashford?
