The main issue is there is nowhere to actually speak directly to an EA employee that could give a response to what is happening with your own gameplay. We can post videos on here where someone can view it, say that can't see an issue and blame it on a poor choice in button press or not anticipating an opponent correctly. There needs to be a live chat option where you can talk through the bad gameplay with someone. The game is designed to hide these gameplay issues so a lot of people who play probably don't even realise they are at a disadvantage and believe they just have to upgrade their team to perform better. if only Ea could be transparent with what causes this poor gameplay we could actually start to fix it, but alas they won;t because it would cost them money
@CPFC007 You're correct, there's no chance EA can see anything wrong with our gameplay because in these videos it's even hard for us to see.
The gameplay is too fast to notice overlay buttons etc.
The whole problem is how the gameplay feels to the controller,
If anyone looks up NHL fatman lag and compare it to this game it's basically the same problem.
Something Isnt syncing up right. Could be routes to EA servers but I've switched isp 4 times in recent years and I am currently with a new isp with a brand new infrastructure with Full fibre straight to the house.
Most on the NHL forum think it's lag compensation, I've tried to lower the bandwidth but make no difference I can't really change the jitter and packet loss " Maybe it needs ro be higher"
I would love to see the connection reports of someone that doesn't have delay.
I think it certainly has to be either a form of lag compensation or the routing to the ea server. i suspect it is the first. I get 98/100 on the connection test, have stable fiber internet. The only time i have had good gameplay was when the packet loss symbol kept flashing up. I just accept that i will be at a disadvantage when i play champions and realistically in terms of rewards the difference between winning every game and losing half of them isn't that great. I would love to play on a level playing field but that is a dream that sadly will never come true. The issue EA have is that if they admit to lag compensation, someone would work it out and everyone would be doing the whatever it is to their connection to get an advantage so they can't. The only fair way is to punish poor connections but long term this would destroy EA's revenue so that keep it as it is and just deny poor gameplay exists
went on to FUTBIN to see the reviews on a player, surprise surprise the first comment I see…. this gameplay issue is a massive problem. Ea sort out your servers!!!

game is a complete disgrace right now, playing champions at 1am UK time on a Monday night. My players are slow, won't run, won't turn, can't sprint. I can't win possession. Player passing to their keeper and I can't get my team to press the ball.
The turning and player switch is so slow I can't do anything to win the ball back. Game is a complete disgrace.
4 days break. Back to FutChamps, a completely different sprint, they run like they have bricks in their shorts. I will never understand this edition.
