If you going on about real life in comparison then yes vdv would be outpaced every time against the likes of mbappe.
but considering in a footrace, Kyle walker has beaten mbappe 7 times out of 10 attempts in a foot race, why is walker slower….then to top it off walker isn’t even in the top 7 of fastest players in the prem league, van de ven is the actual fastest player, and a defender, but given a card slower than walker…..
all in all, in real life the defenders would be better positioned to intercept that through ball that all uses then there would be no need for a speed boost, or be better positioned for that cut back generally.
