PACK LUCK Please EA tell us the truth

Agreed. But would you say the same about cigarette companies? They go to places where kids, vulnerable people etc giving out free cigarettes. We all know how addictive they can be. EA is no different handing out free packs leading to kids wanting more and finding any means possible to do it. IN SHORT EA’s IS DAMAGING KIDS and we are letting them do it !! I know here in the U.K parents are calling for a ban on loot boxes. At the very least get them classed as gambling meaning anyone under the age of 21 would not be able to legally buy them.

I hope that’s going to happen soon!

 Would be great if they could share their point of view as they must surely hear about players that need help because of addiction.

At start the game was very bad but now i like it, last update was really good but i m ok at start the game was horrible.

Problems now are:

-Pay for win is real with real pack addiction, they give us so many rewards packs with nothing good tradeable inside + some good fodders

to many people bought fifa point, like 300€+ only for 93 mbappe and they said a good investment LOL

I already did 93 sbc Mbappe and Eusebio, it cost me a lot of time + 1.2M credits and maybe 120€ since the start of the game, it's too much but i can spend 100€ on a game cause i m 38 and i have a good job...

BUT its not the same for kids you spent all his christmas money on this * for not a single good card. It's really too expensive and chances to get a good card are so bad!

Pack luck:

-There is clearly a script on the rewards and sbc pack content.

My experience is too long, I packed a lot of big cards in rewards or sbc but never when i often play with my top tier team.

If i take a new account or an friend account make 16 on champs and packed totw mbappe or cruyff both tradeable, tried an sbc icon got pele, ferdinand.

So the account of my friend was lucky I took it like first account got a god team and now the luck is horrible. and that's just one of many examples

I don't really know how it works but what is certain is that teh content of the sbc and reward packs is determined by credits movements or playing time/number of connections

If you go back to the game after long break you can get lucky for sure.

facts, i get absolutely nothing out of every pack i open, at most i get an 86-89 rated fodder, never a good player pick, and occasionally the good 83 inform for the 1000000 sbcs that for some reason require a team of the bloody week.

The fun of the pack is in the luck bro but when you know the luck is impossible to get there is no fun in pack opening.

It's a lie and take people for idiots, EA gives us completely empty reward packs compared to the packs in store and the content of the sbc icons/heroes is just a way for EA to rebalance the teams, I know that if I rarely play with a bad team and I have respected EA rules until then I have a chance of packing a playable card, while on my main account the chances are 0

You’re right when you say  EA are a business and the goal (no pun intended) of any business is to make money. However it’s the way they do it does not seem ethical.  At the end of the day it’s gambling.  They reel you in with the packs your can earn through challenges etc  From that the lure of big packs with big players you have to pay for.  EA made have made changes showing the chances of getting big players.

 These changes aren’t really there to help gamers. If you investigate it the changes  were made to fall in line with Chinese regulations. A growing market. 
I also wonder about teams full of players you earn through SBC. I have asked some how much they have spent to get a squad like that.  I am sceptical when they say they haven’t spent a penny.  I have looked at the cost it would take to get a team like that and and it would cost around 40 million.

I do wonder if EA are anticipating the death of the loot box by bringing in evolution cards. We will have to wait and see.  I have stopped buy packs instead opting for evolution cards.  At least I get a good player that fits in with my squads.
