Please EA, for your sake create a game that can be enjoyed online. Losing to better players is one things. Losing because or delay and lag is another things.
There are series of online games that are successful with an average ISP. I have 2ms and I can even enjoy a series or UT games online. Its sickening. Till you get it right I am out.
I don't even appreciate winning because I feel the opponent suffers the same. That is outright pathetic.
Try running the connection score with match history here. You might have jitter or packet loss. Also try wired if you are not already. Then run the game with the online input overlay on. This will tell you how bad your delay is or isn’t. If your two controllers on screen are say 6 seconds apart then you have really bad delay. If they are in sync then you have little to no delay.

After all, controller delays are related to the state of servers that are in poor health.
You experience delays not only in matches but also in the UT main menu.
If you do 80+ exchanges, after a few such series you have to exit and log in again.
We all have many games on HDD and only FC24 has delays - this is the best proof. Your advices have nothing to do with reality tbh.
I'm curious which division do you play in, how many matches you play and whether you have any practical knowledge.
I’ve played since fifa 12 and never had any delay. I mean I did before the servers were added. You would get that start stop lag. Once the servers were added I don’t get any delay.
But yeah if you do have delay take a short video and show ea. if you have that big 6 second delay your controllers will be behind each other on the screen. If its a server problem then ea can look into it like they did with sa and fix it.
But yeah I always check my delay because people say it’s always bad but I never have any otherwise I would report it to help out the community.

Even Pro Streamers from the elite division on the best equipment with over 10 years of experience have huge delays and you write something like this. If you've been playing offline since FIFA 12, that's no surprise.
I’ve never played offline besides doing squad battle objectives which I dislike. I think you thought this from before servers it was p2p so someone was the host. Lag was bad back then.
Well hopefully this thread fills up with video examples if you think everyone has issues with the servers that way ea can look into it.
I can only give my experience and when I do all the tests my connection and input overlay is fine.
I don’t know what can I write here because in all my life i was and I am a low abiding, never broke any rule in my life and yet EA feels different.
There are number of things we all write about and yet I can not see someone from EA speaking up.
My Game crashes several Times during a day. My players are now stuck on the transfer list i can not do anything.
I try to believe in a fair matchmaking but when you are 5 games down you expect to play with someone easier, but you are facing even someone more terrifying you start to wonder am I matched with a correct person?
I will not write anything about the packs, because it is completely random. But what I read about pack content it’s not something that will make my go to the store and spend real money. Hard earned money. Thanks but no thanks.
Delay in the game. Don’t get me started on this one. This is a topic long as a Nile river. Does anyone from EA said anything constructive about what we are experiencing? The are matches in which I pass the ball to me nearest player and yet the ball is taken away from me because the player that was nicely distant from my player has the speed of Flash an gets to the ball before my player.
The incsonsistensy of this game is incredible. In one match you are God, you can do whatever you like, but the next match there is a change, and you can not do anything. How can I play like crap and God - the same day, same players, same concentration.

Ea has addressed the delay a lot. They make about a post a day. They also did 4 or 5 pitch notes on the servers. They are pretty informative about it. They also went over 5 or 6 videos of noways videos so it’s nice to see what they said and that they pass it on and give feedback.
If you read the pitch notes it gives examples of why this could be happening. One of the common issues is how your isp routes you. This has happened in sa when the undersea cables went down. Then ea had to reroute people to Middle East. Least I think they did would have to reread the thread.
The point is when enough report it they look into it. It’s hard to tell what’s going on unless you post the tests and show a video of it.
But if you have all the warning signs going off it’s possible it’s on your end. If 800-900 report it like sa it’s also possible it’s a server issue.
