@nuffledesma It’s not p2p it’s on servers. The below is a quote from ea when they added servers.
EAS FC uses game data centers so that someone else’s connection doesn’t impact your own gameplay experience. The game data center handles the distribution of gameplay information to all players.
The center collects inputs from your game at a set interval of time, then sends this information back to everyone else in a match. This happens at the same time for all players and is determined by their individual connections.
For example, if one player is streaming 4K movies and trying to play on a weak Wi-Fi signal, their activities shouldn’t impact anyone else in that match. The game data center still sends the information at the same interval.
A game data center acts as the host of the match in multiplayer matches.

@RadioShaqs With all due respect mate. But your talking about a game that cant even get their menu wich is the basics of a game to function properly. So all that "someone elses connection should not effect your gameplay" actually goes straight to the bin. These concerns are valid and shouldnt be brushed under the rug. I just played a game which had the excact situation that is described in the main post. In rivals my connection was proper then i entered a wl qualification and my players couldnt move or sprint. As my opp started to use a wide formation it was impossible to defend as it took ages for me to reach his players. This is a big problem in the game and it should be taken seriously as stated in the main post. Which is perfectly stated.
- RadioShaqs2 years agoHero@Starscreamdali He is describing p2p. That’s not brushing it under the rug. Run the game with the input overlay on and you can see what’s going on. If your two controllers on screen are in sync then you have little to no delay. If you have delay say 6 seconds then the one controller on screen will be behind the other by 6 seconds.
Ea has asked for examples so if you have that kind of delay take a video of it and show them so it’s not swept under the rug as you said.- Starscreamdali2 years agoSeasoned Veteran@RadioShaqs Thanks for pointing this out. Will make a video of this when i can and upload it here.
I always have the two controllers up top - nuffledesma2 years agoNew Scout@RadioShaqs Okay, then it not works like this, but some of those servers (data servers) are garbage and not responding in time, and EA games doing nothing about that. I played 1200-1500 hours with this game this year (yes I’m that cube) and can feel the difference between good and bad gameplay. When I get those * servers my players have no clue what is happening on the pitch, today I played against a guy who was played 100 hours with the game; and beat me 6-1, and I had no chance… that’s not normal…

One controller is to the server the other is your local. Nobody is the host anymore.
