@v3ry_n00b Contracts obviously represent the fantasy simulation of wages being paid to the player/manager and part of this process is that it costs you to play a match in order to then earn coins or rewards.
The in-game value of having to use contracts makes it feel more worthwhile regardless of whether you choose to spend real money on points or not.
If you play the game a lot and open lots of packs (any packs not just bought packs from the store) then you will end up with the feeling that contracts are not worth anything because you have lots of them.
I think getting rid of fitness and morale boosters was needed. Contracts are ok, maybe they could be done better somehow but they do give you a steady trickle of coins through the excess/abundance of tradeables.
