If an opponent quits a game, for any reason, regardless of the score at the time, you should be given an automatic win. My understanding is that EA does this in some of its other games but not in EA FC 24. There is no fair and reasonable argument for EA not to change its stance in EA FC 25.
The problem with just giving wins is you jump someone who actually won their games. When you have a ladder type system or rewards it’s not fair to do that either.

Not ever quit would be a win though. That’s like saying if someone quits just start over and try again like now. That is actually the better option. You are talking about pros gaining entry to tournaments for real money so a lot is on the line for some. Don’t get me wrong I want quitters punished as I think it ruins the game. Golden goal was one of the worst things but the alternatives also come with major problems. I often times forget it till someone in here reminded me about going afk to get objectives done and to waste others time.

@RadioShaqsThe pros will get the wins they earn and wins from quits, others will still get wins for quits but probably not earn as many wins.
Result = pros still qualify higher due to earning more wins while normal players don't get punished because someone else quit.To counter the afk situation just make it so you have to do several different inputs in a row to stop the game kicking you, that would instantly stop rubber banding.
The point is you are taking away someone who actually wins games rewards or tournament spots depending on the mode and giving it to someone who it’s possible wouldn’t have made it or got that many wins by giving them free wins.
It’s still possible to bypass the inactivity. As you can see it would stop some but some are actually there just holding the button or using drinking birds or fans to bypass it. One popular YouTube video of how to setup your fan and a pen to drag over your controller or keyboard and it’s useless. I mean I know that’s ridiculous to think about but you know how the community is lol.

Also this game isn't just about pros and the game should be balanced around everyone and not just the privileged few. It would affect everyone it’s just pros it’s real money. Although normal users do put in money for points so could be similar. It’s just the pro scene would be scrutinized much more than a regular user miss out or having to catch up to others who get better rewards they don’t deserve. Honestly it might benifit ea they would sell more points.
Disagree. If people are that way then why but the game? If it's trash return it. This is not about gameplay, it's about mentality of many young people who have no patience and think they should win at everything. Like nothing takes hard work. Everything should be easy. No the game isn't perfect but play properly or don't play at all. Pick up your ball and go play outside instead in real life. Oh wait! If they did that in any organized game they wouldn't be able to just leave if they're losing. It's not about the game is about weak mentality and spoilt brat behaviour.
Agree. I think if you quit more than 10 times in a week you should be barred for a day at least. People that quit are weak minded. I won't even call them kids as that would be an insult to other kids that dint behave such a way. It's a reflection on society. Something not going your way - give up and blame someone else.
