Team useless in Rivals cant pass always losing the ball and no room to PLAY!

im so frustrated. Havent won a rivals games in 2 weeks

Simply NO chance in any game!

When i get the ball always 4 players pressing, very deep defending  and when i make a pass it ALWAYS gets intercepted.

when im in the box either the shot gets saved or a super tackle.

But lose the ball straight away 1 on 1 against the defender run past goal.

BUT when i try that even Salah or Werner cant out run anything or the defender catches up.

Why EA got a 12-25 ms ping yet my team is USELESS. Any tips on what i can try?

    The game seems to be designed like that. Stats are irrelevant, as even your fastest forward will be caught by the slowest defender (numbers only). 

    The (scripted) behaviour (it’s not AI)  if it’s defending, running paths etc hasn’t improved in years. Still the broken mess it’s been for a while. 

    FC has become an arcady football-themed brawler. It’s only about getting held and fouled - oh wait they don’t even count as fouls, hehe. 

    The actual gameplay and experience has become a horrendous torture. The last installments of the game have gotten worse and every patch seems to break more. Guess that’s what happens when you build upon legacy code and don’t understand the core anymore (and don’t understand the game of football and the rules itself)

    Yes, the gameplay is *. But i suggest you to Just play It coll. If the pressure comes too hard just pass back and walk with the ball, and switch sides If necessary. Sooner or later the space will appear. And only rum with the ball if you have the space to do It, usually in the sides, because the middle os almost always too crowded.

    @regofelipe28 This is how I’m forced to play the only thing is even when I have space I’ll get chased down by someone 20 yards out of position with Vini Jr or Salah. I wish they wouldn’t reward undisciplined players.

    @Conkers2005 Yes the high press is op.

    If your players cant catch up you are probably using the wrong angle. Instead of running at the player try to run where you think he might end up. This will help you get in front of the player most of the time.

    A little help against high press is to work with crossing to the other side. If a player keeps running at you crazy use the left and right feint to bait them and exit the opposite direction. Remember you have to do this fast or it will not work.

    Also try looking at the whole pitch dont look at the player u want to pass to as it will limit your options because of the op manmarking. It takes some time to get used to but you will see open spaces. Then either use ballrole pass or precesion lobpass to get the ball to your player. Most of the time u will see that if you get the ball out of pressure you will find players again and atleast put up a fight and enjoy the game.

    @Conkers2005 Loads of us with same problem. Not a skill issue it's lack of matchmaking. Another thought is when it becomes difficult to compete and get wins most will blame it on the players they have not being good enough & will spend on packs. EAs way of making more bucks.
