1. Pressing needs to be nerfed. Players can still press like maniacs the entire game without losing much stamina at all, it is simply unrealistic and that is not how football works, just use past versions of the game as a guideline to what is generally acceptable.
2. Controlled sprint is extraordinarily overpowered, players will use this skill to get to the side and then spam cutbacks and it is very hard to stop and requires no skill at all. I myself do not like using it because I do not feel I have truly earnt the win if I score too many using this silly move. It should be reserved for the very best players of all time who did it in real life: R9, Roberto Baggio, Messi, only players of that calibre did it like you see in the game, but currently I am seeing players like Adama Traore doing it lol.
3. Tackling is silly this year, just make it how it was before because now it is very hard to tackle, you added controlled sprint but also made it harder to tackle, this is a HUGE part of the problem, just revert. You added "advanced defending" and gave players the opportunity to shoulder barge players off the ball WWE style, this is football not wrestling, just revert.
4. Precision passing is a good concept but I prefer how the passing was in Fifa 23. Bring back the lobbed through pass please. There must be a balance between fun and skill, yes it requires more skill to do the precision pass, but even when I hit a sweet pass with it, it does not feel fun because it requires too much work, while I am doing 2093802 other things at once. I am not flying a Boeing 747 here, I am playing a football game, it is supposed to be fun.
5. Chemistry system is much, much better this year. Well done for fixing it.
6. Some Icon player stats are a poor reflection of how good they were in real life, Roberto Baggio, Andriy Shevchenko and Alan Shearer were much better players than the stats on the cards, it makes me wonder if the people who create the game even watched football before, I don't think they did. Roberto Baggio was a free kick specialist and many of his goals came from outside the box, he liked to hit the ball while it was moving too, but when you look at the long shot and shot power stats, it is a joke, where did they get their information from? Hilarious. Shevchenko, past Ballon Dor winner was probably one of the fastest strikers in the history of the game, but apparently Gary lineker was just as fast, lol really, sort it out please.
7.Right stick switching has changed, I am not sure why but often I have to switch twice in order to get to the correct player and it has costed me many goals/games. I have found it better when I changed the responsiveness to 0 and let the computer decide but it was still far, far more accurate and better last year, I have tried putting the responsiveness to 10 too and also tried changing controllers, it is something to do with the game.
The last patch was a step in the right direction but a lot more needs to be done to put the fun back into the game and you need to act now as we are almost halfway through the game and the majority of people are still not happy with the game play, this is going to go down as the worst expansion in the history of the game. There is a reason why your physical sales are down by 30% and you really need to start listening to your playerbase, because your financial statements are going to reflect this and a clear message will be sent.
